Waiting for biopsy results may adversely affect health
I would be willing to bet that these results could
be duplicated waiting for any test results. The stress of not knowing, of
being put off, needs to be emphasized to clinicians who have a nasty habit of
saying, "They'll have the results of the test in a week or so" just because it's
standard operating procedure and not because it takes that long to get the
results.
Print this study out and show it to your doc and
technicians-after all, it's your health at stake and decreasing stress will only
help the you heal and deal more effectively with any illness or treatments
you may have.
